I volunteer at the Neukom Vivarium in the Olympic Sculpture Park and this week I got to meet the artist. Such an inspiring and inquisitive individual! Watch the first video from 2006 to see how much the plants have grown around the "nurse log". I chose to show the second video because I can really relate to his creative methodology - I can never proceed on an design without a little cultural or technical research first. -amber
