I finished "Just Kids" by Patti Smith yesterday - a beautiful gift for all us creative types. What was inspiring for me was the collaborative strength of all the artists, poets, musicians, and patrons urging and supporting each other. I have to say that it makes me truly grateful for our own creative community here in Seattle: Kyle Johnson, Emmett Smith, Patrick Richardson Wright, Strath and Emily Shepard, Suzanne Stefan, Jenny Klimenkoff, Ashley Helvey, Frank Correa, Jean Le, Nicholas Kamuda, Lauren Max, Charley Schuck, Jamie Iacoli, and Brian McAllister... and the list goes on! -amber
